:rofl3:

Thanks Ken. I take pride in the quality of my fish butts!

Awwwww man! I missed the seahorses when we were in Utila last year. :-(

Now I have to go back.

Great shots!

Larry:

I've never seen a better squirrel fish butt-shot. You are to be commended! :)

Seriously, great stuff. Thanks for sharing. Utila is one of those places I have yet to visit. Any whale sharks this time of year or is it too late in the season? I think around Arpil is supposed to be the best time.

Thanks Scubador, Deefstes and Doug.

Normally, May is high season. Apparently, they've been a little sparse this year. There were two while we were there. One was a big fella, but he was buddied up with a big Oceanic White Tip. One of the other boats dropped their swimmers anyway. We had a brief encounter with a baby. He was about 12 feet, and had a huge Remora hanging off his back. I didn't get any great pictures. As soon as he turned back toward me and I lined up a wide shot, he decided to get friendly and put his eye right on my port. I'll post the picture on my next set. Not bad, but half his head is cut out. I think they said August is your best bet for Whale Sharks there. Check with Steve at Deep Blue Resort Deep Blue Utila swim with whale sharks at our all inclusive resort. Utila, Bay Islands, Honduras. He's heavily involved in Whale Shark research and tagging.
