In the past I've left my passport at home and traveled on other documents with no trouble. A passport is $67 plus $14 for the mugshot at Kinkos. If you don't need to spend $80 then why bother?

I think many will find the rules are changing. But, like I always say....whatever floats your boat. See you at the security office of the airport !!
