Has anyone tried this combination yet? I can get a great deal on this lens for my D80, but was wondering whether anyone has tried out this combo before and if so, did use the same port/extension/gear combination as the Nikon 12-24?

OK, maybe I should rephrase the question. Has anyone tried the Tokina 12-24 lens in any housing, and if so, did it use the same port as the Nikon 12-24? I know the Tokina is a few mm bigger in diameter, but would this make a big difference?

I just got back from a week in Oz and used this lens quite a bit. There is a Cannon zoom gear that works perfectly. Just call Aquatica or any of the dealers and you can get one. Works great and is really nice lens. If you look at any of the stuff I posted in the Show Off section most of all the medium to wide angle was taken with that lens.
