Measure it with a ruler. I forget the actual dimensions. But the G2 is larger in diameter than the G1. I'll have to go measure mine later today and tell you the diameter.
There is a subset in generations. 3 versions.

There is distinction that Gen 1 can't use silicone zip seals. Sometime around 2010 cut off? It's on their site.
