If I could only find fares like that from the PNW. I've never seen fares under $500 when I could go, usually they are over $600.

I've been looking for flights after the beginning of the year up through April, and since Cancun is a very popular destination for Midwesterners, I can't believe that I can't find any direct flights from O'Hare to Cancun. It appears that our most direct route would be through Texas. I've tried alternate airports (Milwaukee, Midway, even Rockford who had direct flights last year). Even our LDS who makes several trips per year is refusing to go until after March at the earliest. I guess on the upside of not finding direct flights is that the airfares are just over $200.

go to www.sidestep.com and run a search. American, USA3000 out of O'hare and ATA out of midway direct to Cancun. United from Thanksgiving till Easter direct to Coz. Funjet does Charters non-stop all the time to Cancun so does Apple vacations. You can buy air only on the charters. This year is a bumber due to all the weather they had.
