Just curious..... if we are talking about 32%, why would there ever be any need for anything dedicated?

I've got one that looks like it has been virtually unused... The 1st stage looks brand new! not a scratch on it! So these are intended as a dedicated Nitrox Reg?
Holy Threadsurrection!!

These regs are about 30 years old now. Even if it is brand new, get it serviced before use to make sure the orings and grease aren't completely dried out.

Yes you can use them for recreational Nitrox mixes.

I have one that I still use because it works great and I like all the extra weight that high up to help me get into a nice trim position. If only the DIN kits weren't so darn rare...

This is a reg from the mid 90's. Back then Nitrox wasn't yet as regularly accepted as it is today and many Mfers started coming out with special Nitrox versions of regs that were all green and had viton orings inside them and were to be used only with nitrox or nitrox compatible air. Kind of like modern tech diving O2 regs.

Obviously I'll rebuild it, before I dive it... My life depends on this stuff... It seems like a very well made Reg, I look forward to diving it...
