Has anybody used one of these Filters?
 
It will give you back some of the red color you will be losing to the blue cast as you go deeper in the water. But cannot give you back the overall intensity or strength of light you will be losing as you go deeper, so the aperture or shutter speed will need to be opened up to let more light in.

Good for clear waters down to 30 feet or snorkeling. Lower than that you will need a strobe to get the colors back. Just another piece of glass to stack on your lens to degrade the picture quality. I see the video shooters using this.
