Uploading Videos

I've tried uploading a short video the same way I upload photos to a post but I get an error message saying "invalid format" or file, I can't remember. I'm obviously doing it incorrectly. I did a search but had no luck. Can you please tell me the procedure and size limits for uploading videos?

As far as I'm aware, you can't upload videos to attach to posts like you can for photos. You have to upload them to another site, like youtube or vimeo, and then embed the video using the link and the appropriate BB code.

The max file size is just under 10MB. So pretty small. All the standard windows/Mac formats are supported. The Photo Gallery s/w is not really optimized for video.

We also support Youtube HD. Embed codes and usage examples for videos stored on Youtube or Vimeo can be found in the BB Code List. Also in an advanced edit window you should see the

insert option.
