I'm thinking about going on a dive trip that has boat dives but also unlimited shore diving. This sounds like a great idea to me cause I want to get the most dives out of every trip possible. Sound like a good idea to you?

You can give Red Sea a try I think that you will like it. It has many of both shore and Boat entries. Also you have many Divesites and many locations. I am sure you will like it.

Anything that optimises in-water time on a trip is a good idea. Just make sure you've got a good computer and you use it on all your dives.

then you might want to look into bonaire. hard to be that place for shore diving.

Yeah, unlimited shore diving is great, providing there's something to see. Sometimes the "reef" is a buoy with a lone fish hanging around so do a bit of homework before you reserve something.

Yep.....just noticed that myself....gotta get those new reading glasses today.....eyyeppp

It all depends on the budget...

Kona, HI.
Rent 2 tanks, a car, and print out all the dive sites from shorediving.com. Maybe not as great of diving as Bonaire, but the beautiful beaches and the other topside options make for a fantastic vacation.
