Unfurled links in ScubaBoard posts
This is one of my favorite new features in ScubaBoard 2021. Unfurling simplifies including links to other posts in ScubaBoard or any publicly accessible site on the Web.
What is an unfurled link?

As you can see, an unfurled link provides a preview and a Hyperlink that can be clicked on to open.
Link to posts on ScubaBoard
Step 1: Find the post that you want to reference and open the "Share this thread" window by letting your mouse pointer hover over the icon without clicking.Step 2: Then click the Copy to clipboard icon.
Step 3: Open the thread you want to post the the unfurled link in and enter the text you want to preface your "unfurl". Then paste the URL in onto a blank in the editor and click the "Post reply" button.
Step 4: Check your results. The entire "Unfurl" becomes a link to the referenced post, Oxygen Toxicity Limits & Symptoms in this example.
You can also use a "Context Menu" to open the link in a new tab or window.
Right-Click
Command-ClickLink to any Web page
Step 1: Open a web page that you want to link toStep 2: Copy the URL (Uniform Resource Locator), commonly called a "web address". URLs are displayed in your Web Browser's address bar.
Step 3: Repeat step 3 above, paste the URL into your post on a blank line.
When Unfurls fail
A URL won't unfurl when it links to a page that is not publicly available. In that case the URL will display as you paste it except it will be a hyperlink. Examples of URLs that won't unfurl include web pages that you must login to view.
Technical Information ScubaBoard will automagically add the required BB code around the URL you pasted:
