I am looking at purchasing the Gav Wing from Bags Sports and was wondered if anyone had any experience with the company?

GAV WING 15 LT

Much appreciated.

Never heard of it, but if you're diving locally you'll want to consider a SS backplate and wing instead of back inflate to get lead off of your belt, with the modular systems if something goes wrong you can replace the parts, with back inflates you have to chuck the whole rig and start over

Well, according to their "About Us", they are the manufacturer for a number of brands - Bags Sport's Portfolio

Scuba pro
Mares
SEAC
Beuchat

I have seen this model and their other models on ebay

The do not post mfg name though

Now I know

Thx

Gav doesn't have any market in the US, so the majority of us aren't going to hear of the Italian company.
Myself included.

The buoys look like plastic toys, although this one's kind of neat in a '50s cartoony way.

Looks like another manufacturer has decided to cut out the middle-man and sell directly to retailers/public under their own brand rather than building stuff for other brands to re-badge.
