I have just started trying out underwater focus, but with the camera on autofocus, about 70% of the time the images are out of focus. Is it best just to zoom it out to wide, and set the focus at infinity?

How else to I ensure the focusing? The camera does not have an LCD montior so I only find it out when I play it back after the dive.

Thanks

Hello,

In the tips/techniques section I posted an article I wrote on dome port optics. It goes into detail about this problem.
