Hi,

I've heard there are underwater housings made to fit most brands of digital cameras. Where would I find these (& good prices). I've also heard that you really need a strobe flash as well.

Any info from knowledgeable underwater photographers would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

Check out the Pink Link in my signature. Inside it you will find steps on getting started once you have a system, information on strobes and various cameras and some other tidbits including where to head to spend your cash - I think that's in the 2nd post.

Have fun...I love the A series cameras :)

Hey,

Just a quick word of advice, I wouldn't get a housing for this camera, for one reason only- there's a defect that shows up generally at the 3 year mark. You'll lose your LCD and eventually the camera.

I would hate for you to spend 150$+ on a housing to have your camera die off.(and have to spend 200$ to get it repaired when a new camera is really more economical and then your stuck with an unused housing). Last week alone I had 5-6 people come into the shop with A60's or A70's inquiring about this problem.

Anyhow, just thought I would forewarn you- if you have any Q's let me know.
