I was looking for a ScubaBoard forum exclusively dedicated to the discussion of Underwater Diving Records and couldn't find anything of the sort. Maybe I haven't looked hard enough ?

Naturally, I am aware of this website:

The Diving Almanac

I am curious to know if a specific forum discussing various types of dive records is hidden somewhere on the ScubaBoard website ?

Consider the attainment of diving records as a dangerous activity and counter to the Scubaboard philosophy... :-)

You wont find any - but you can check the accidents forum and look for Doc Deep...

We don't currently have such a forum.

I don't believe there would be enough content to justify a forum but certainly a thread can be started in the appropriate forum. If there's enough interest it can be "stuck" at the top of the forum.

Maybe here? History of Scuba Diving: Tales from the Abyss

Why? What purpose would this serve?

Your questions sounds like a Koan.

What, indeed, is the purpose of any discussion, no matter the topic ?

:)

All right, I'll try and be much clearer with my question.
What objective do you have in reading about diver records? Why are you interested in this?
