Our research on the paleontology of the Dominican Republic was featured in an article in Forbes Science last week. We survey and recover fossil remains of many extinct species (e.g., monkeys, giant sloths) that were once central components of the Caribbean islands. These remains are best preserved in caves, and better still in FLOODED caves. Read more here: Forbes article
