I was told (second hand) about an underwater village that Stalin flooded that is a dive site. Can't seem to find anything else out about it. Anyone know?

i'm gonna guess that someone was pulling your leg.
i could be wrong (and I usually am) but if there was any validity to the story, you'd be able to find alot of info on it on the internet, and there'd probably be people on this board that had dove (dived?) it...

Its real. I believe the town is Mologa which was flooded in part with the building of the Rybinsk Reservoir in the early 1940's. Can't find any diving info on this though. But have heard that you can dive it.
