Got in a quick dive at Point Lobos yesterday, while the conditions were still ideal: flat calm & 40 to 50+ feet of vis! The kelp is getting thick, so we cruised around under it in the Cannery Point Wall area. Highlights include a small string of Salps (Thetys vagina) and the biggest school of Pile Surfperch I've ever seen toward the end.
