I've read the rules and opted in to the forum but still do not have the ability to post on classifieds. Anyone have any ideas what is keeping me from being able to?

Did something change? I've been a member for 18 years, 7500 posts, have bought and sold in classifieds before, and now "You have insufficient privileges to post threads here." Exactly how do I opt in or request approval?

You need to opt in to the Marketplace under Preferences in your account settings. It will most likely be approved within a day or so.
The second part is the key. Your posting needs to be approved. It may or may not take time for someone to do that...
Finally figured that out. It just seems if they are going to yank away privileges you had for the past 18 years they should send some kind of pm notice. And instead of "insufficient privileges" being a text label it could be a link to something that explains why or what you need to do. Or put it somewhere in the "special rules" document.
