U-853?

My dive shop's club is looking to dive the U-853. Does anyone know of any charter boats running out there?

I did a search, but came up empty. Can that be true?

I think you are thinking of the U-352...... the U-853 is in Rhode Island.....

EAB - When you locate a boat, ask them if they require gear, such as min 100's or ponies. A friend of mine located a boat that would charter to 853, the captain went to a different site when the divers brought 80's. Only one diver had a pony.

I was on the 853 last month off of canned air. All but 2 of us dove single 95s without ponys. Great dive!!
