I am scheduled to dive in Bohol starting from the 19th of December. Does anyone know if this typhoon that formed over Guam will affect my trip at all? Thanks.

I just called the Phil. Toursm this morning. They say it's a little rough still at Balicasg Island in bohol. I should wait until Feb. or March to be sure. I'm also planning to go there the end of Dec. and changing my mind. Going there this summer to be sure. I just went to the Island last May 2004. and had a great dive. :dazzler1:

We have a web site here that gets about 3.5 million hits a month, which most of us use to track typhoons. You can also arrange to have email updates sent to you automatically every 6 hours when one is being tracked. Mike, the guy who runs it, has been chasing storms for about 20 years and is very good at tracking and predicting paths. He starts from the time a storm is just a tropical depression and tracks it until it is well out of Philippine waters or run out of steam.

I suggest you put this site in your dive file. http://www.typhoon2000.ph/
