Yesterday went diving in Gulliver's Lake near Hamilton, Ontario Canada. I am a fairly new diver, and through this board met a person who contacted me and wanted to do a local dive. Perry was great!!!! Gail came too and she was great also. They were wonderful with me, and offered some tips. We did two dives---had a little trouble with weight the first dive, but the second dive was awesome. It was great getting in the water and doing the dive. Thanks again to Perry and Gail for their patience and help. diverdown

Hi Diverdown, welcome to Scubaboard, and I'm glad to hear you met some good dive buddies. I was at Gulliver's on Sunday, and go relatively often during the summer for skills practice. If you are ever heading back, let me know and I'll see if I can pop down for a dive.

Hey Diverdown35, it was a pleasure--good company, good weather, good visibility. What more could we ask for? Well... maybe more fish and cool stuff to look at. But we'll see those on future dives!

Think diving season is up for me, but understand that Aquatic centre offers some Friday night practice sessions---I would be interested over the winter to practice my skills---diverdown35---looking forward to some more diving next yr!!!

hey diverdown if your in hamilton I know Rec and Tek has some pool nights for anyone throughout the winter if you jsut want to mess around. I was looking at there page last night. I think the first one was November 8th or something like that. 10 to use pool and 20 if you need equipment. Just a thought.
