With so many fat, out-of-shape divers in the water, I'm a little surprised the number suffering from cardiac events isn't higher
 
With so many fat, out-of-shape divers in the water, I'm a little surprised the number suffering from cardiac events isn't higher

I just had a discussion about this with a good friend/dive guide who works for a local operator and we came to the same conclusion. Unfortunately, everyone in the industry pays when an out of shape, unhealthy, or otherwise unfit to dive individual dies on scuba as a result of their health.
