The family is hopping on a cruise ship again this winter...so I want to know which set of diving is better...

Option 1: (All Western Mexico)

Acapulco
Ixtapa
Puerto Vallarta
Cabo San Lucas

Option 2:

Progreso, Mexico
Cozumel, Mexico
Belize City, Belize (Turnefee Atoll, I think)

Almost all of my diving is in Puget Sound...and I made one warm water trip last winter to Dominica and BVI...

Just looking for your opinions...

Many thanks!

Cozumel and Belize are about as good as it gets. Mexico's Pacific coast? Well, it's got water. Go with the Caribbean side.

Option 2 More to see.

Option 2.

Some great stuff to see (hammerheads, whales and whale sharks) on the Pacific side at the right time of year, but given the limitations of cruise ship diving, you will likely enjoy the Carib mo betta.
