Deep Sea Detectives.... History Channel

That's pretty much it. And if you have an technical diving knowledge, that show can drive you nuts!

I just watched it for the first time. I'll give it one more chance, but this one (the locomotives at 90 ft.) was like a lot of the History Channel stuff: lots of padding in a show that should have been about a third as long.

I watched it last night, but the phone rang in the middle of it (child's teacher) and I missed the end. I'm dying to know if they id'ed those locomotives???? Where did they come from?

Sorry, I fell asleep. Didn't see whether the search for "the holy grail of the railroad industry" was successful. But they either came from somewhere in Massachusetts or they didn't. And they raised the number of known engines of this type to 8, except that there seem to have been thirteen made and four lost not counting these. Or maybe counting them. I got lost in the hype.

National Geographic Channel and Discovery Science Channel have some good ones every now and then, but they're not really recreational. Try the Travel Channel and Fine Living Channel too.

Does the Travel Channel have anything but poker games? Are there any TV channels with travel destinations which are good dive spots?
