I had a wierd expirence with a loggerhead yesterday. Lets just say that my buddies think I will crawl up the beach and lay eggs pretty soon. He swam right up and mounted my inspiration. Pretty interesting experience to say the least. Anyone else?

We had one come up right face to face to us yesterday. It looked my daughter right in the face literally no more than 6 inches from her nose.

And me without my camera.

Given the topic title, "turtles love the turtle", I can assure you it wasn't a sea cucumber (though we did see s couple of those as well).

It was a turtle; 2.5 - 3 feet across the shell and an amorus look in it's eye. :tease:
