Nice video. Identifying the species and sex would be useful in the voice over. Also, who was the dive operation? East Coast Divers?

I have only done it by boat. But, I have heard that it can be done from the shore. It would be a long trek / swim and it is best done with a guide. With the predominant wind direction, if there is any wind, it may also be difficult to enter from the shore. There is also a possible tide / current issue.

Thanks for responding. Yea, that makes sense and I would imagine it would be hard to navigate with that far of a swim.

Any info on how long Area 9 has been around? Pretty impressive facilities. Do they really need that training pool on Bonaire? I see they have a Zodiac similar to East Coast Divers, do they operate that from Lac Bay? I was under the impression East Coast divers had the only governmental permit to operate boat diving on East Side. My understanding was Fred (East Coast) bought the boat from one Dutch guy, and the permit from another that didn’t get along, and had an instant monopoly on East Coast boat dives.
