Here's hoping the heathens don't eat them all.

If you by "heathens" mean the local population you should do some research before you write next time to avoid coming across as someone who doesn't have a clue. The Egyptians are very protective of their turtles. The biggest human threat to the little hatchlings I can imagine would probably be the tourists.

The Red Sea has now some more Green Turtles and we all hope that as many of them as possible survive the first difficult year...

If you want to see them you can go to my website WELCOME TO AZIAB and click on Marine Life under Red Sea.

Very cute

Very cool! Thanks for sharing :)

I've been to Egypt several times. Dream on.

Hey Mate
Good news from Hamata

Besides is ramadan I don't really see Egyptians going for turtle eggs! They would not know what to do with it as in their diet there is nearly no fish

Cheers
Massimo

I've never seen Egyptians going after turtles.... Been here 6 years.... hmmmm.
Just not in their diet, ever...

I have seen many tourists, sorry, but some of the Russians that go there seem to be the worst at this, messing with everything that they can pick or pry up.
