Can someone please tell me the best places to go diving in Provodencials.

Go on boats which go over to West Caicos

Seriously, the best dives aren't right off Provo, but on nearby islands. Most of the operators will go to West Caicos conditions permitting.

The diving isn't bad in the other areas, Grace Bay or Northwest Point, but most people prefer West Caicos. We still saw sharks and turtles in Grace Bay and off of Northwest Point.

I highly recommend Caicos Adventures they are an excellent operation and dive mainly the south side which includes West Caicos, French Cay and the Sandborne Channel areas. These are mainly wall diving areas but the reefs are also excellent starting in the 40 to 60 foot depth ranges. Excellent variety of marine life from juvenile spotted drums to gorgeous spotted eagle rays and curious baracudas. The coral is in great shape with huge sponges etc. everywhere along the walls.

You can buy a dive book on Turks, describing most of the sites on all the islands. The area is so nice that you can dive anywhere around Provo and have a good time. IMHO, South Cay is the best (South of Provo), then West Caicos (SW of Provo), then the West side of Provo, then the sites in Grace Bay (North of Provo). I am sure you will not be disappointed. I found the reefs in great shape. Most of the area is a Marine Preserve.

While im there should i stick to diving or is there any spectacular spots to snorkel besides from the water near my resort?

Any where in Turks is going to produce some spectacular dives , th northwest side
has incredible vis. 100-150 ft. and an awsome dropoff >700ft. Absolutely awesome
