Interesting - never heard of tuna crabs. are they invasive, edible? Looks like the were a PITA for a lobster and another crab, not to mention the shrimp.
 
Yep. If you've ever seen a crayfish, that's pretty much what they look like, except they're red. Given the crappy diving we've had this year, nice to have something new going on.

Let’s harvest them & do the tuna crab boil party like we do here on crawfish boil every spring.

We got them in San Diego just before April this year. Not invasive, just appear out of nowhere for a while. It's probably not a good idea to eat them.
 
I think the boil idea is worth a try! Get some Pro Boil or Swamp Fire and boil them up.

I have friends that tried pan frying some of the tuna crab tails with crab paste..
