Tulum Snorkel and diving

I am heading down to Tulum to get married in the first week of September and was wondering if anyone had used Mexidivers? I have also been reading that Dive Master Dennis recommends Akumal Dive Center and might use them as well. Input please!!! I am planning on doing a bunch of freediving/snorkeling with my group but also want to do a couple of dives in the cenotes.
