Hi there.

Due to some change in schedule, I'm thinking about going to dive in the Philippines in March.

I'm mostly interested in the big creatures, especially sharks.
A whale shark or a whale would be dreamy, of course.

Differences I know about:
Tubb' is more expensive.
Mala' has thresher sharks aplenty.

Any additional input and/or Liveaboard recommendations?

March is much too early for Tubattaha. Weather is still questionable.
Mid Apr to mid May is better. However given the weather pattern nowadays, anything is possible.

Tubbataha offers much better chances for pelagic.

Good luck.
