Does anyone know if it's possible to use a Nikonos SB105 strobe as a slave to 2 Sea & Sea YS-d1 strobes on a Nauticam housing (E-M1 camera)? I've been trying different settings for TTL, and the Nikonos is firing, but doesn't show up in the image. Are the timings out of sync? I know the SB105 can't be used with an Ikelite DS161 because of a pre-flash issue. Is there a timing issue with the YS-d1? I would appreciate any insight before I put the SB105 up for sale.

Of course it can be used but only in manual mode for all flashes. Does the 105 have a strobe trigger or how are you triggering it?

I had a Nikon camera inside a housing with a large SnS flash in the 80's/90's and I put a strobe trigger on the Nikonos (cant remember what model 102?) flash as I only had a single connection and the slave strobe was used as a fill flash. It worked well for a few years until I moved from film.

Actually, a friend helped me with this. The 105 has a "slave" setting, so the flash of the other strobes automatically set off the 105 in slave mode. For the Olympus E-M1 camera, the camera's flash mode is set to manual flash, then the "full" level is set to "1/64". Easiest to do if the super panel is used. This might not make any sense unless you're using the Olympus E-M1. Anyway, it works.

Great I was sure it was usable. How do you plan to use 3 strobes and what do you want to photograph?
