Hello,
I am in process of developing an adapter to attach sea&sea lenses my powershot S230. I may also try to make an adapter for the sealife lenses. I will also be adapting it to work with the S410 and S500 cameras. I was wondering if this is a product that people would be interested in and if so, how much they would pay for it. I've attached some pictures of a prototype. The adapter includes a tray that will support either one or two strobes.
I'm just trying to figure out if this is something that I should look into producing.
It will be pretty easy to adapt the setup to other housings if I get access to them.

Thanks,
Jeremy

Sea and Sea makes a conversion adapter (or used to) for some of the housings. I bought one so that I could use the motor marine 2T macro with it. The only problem now is that I would like to be able to drill a hole in the metal that attaches to the lens so I can put a tie on it and loop it to my housing. Can't remember what I paid for the conversion adapter but it was fairly inexpensive.

Hi Jeremy, I would be interested in knowing how well your adapter works and what lenses you are trying to adapt.

Hi,

I currently only have a 20 mm motormarine II lens. I have made my second adapter after refining the design a little. I'm leaving to go on a dive trip on Wednesday morning. I'll post some images when I get back so you can see how well it works. Currently it takes quite a bit of work to make the adapter so I'm not sure if it will be practicle to make very many of them. I made it for my camera because I couldn't find an existing adapter to do the same thing.

Thanks Jeremy, I'll look for your images to see how well your adaption worked. Have a great dive.
