My brother-in-law took his BC to the Bahamas and they took his BC apart in customs, and I mean took every thing apart. He had a heck of a time getting it back ready for his diving there. Have any of you had this problem?

Barracuda2:That info is a first for me. I can definately tell when they go through my dive gear, but I never had them take anything apart. They even leave a document that says they inspected the bag. Even my smb was never unrolled. How did they disassemble the BC? I don't think you can take mine apart without wrecking something like seals and connectors. Man, that would be a real bummer to get to you destination with an unusable BC!
