haven't seen a weather map but it is pretty non-typhoony here at terminal 2 right now. Plus they have free wifi

surf's up in Pagudpud (up there in Ilocos Norte), strong winds creating mini sand storms. Hurts when the sand strikes your expose body parts. Just can't stay too long in the beach.
