Okay, perhaps I'm the last one to see a moon snail, but it was still cool for me! Especially after griping about it the other day.

I dove Ogden today, where the vis was very good. There was sooo much light -- mind you I was diving mostly around 40'. Still, all was good.

The highlights today included:
1) A Moon Snail finally!!!

2) All the Tritons were doing their thing, and laying eggs everywhere! There's a big rock at about 40' (topped off with plumose) that was completely covered in eggs (well, two sides), and had about 15 or more Oregon Tritons covering it. I only snapped a few photos, then left them alone.

A GREAT dive in the shallows today.

Yeah, it seems that the viz is back to normal at Ogden. I went friday morning and I could see kelp on the surface from 60 feet down. There were lots of little white bits floating around though.
