I took some underwater photos right in front of the resort we were staying in Perhentian Besar. The resort is Perhentian Coral View, fronting the Teluk Pauh beach. The marine life is quite good, BUT the main attraction here is the turtles!

Water around 10-meter deep, you can go in and see 4-5 turtles grazing at the sandy floor. I managed to snap the photo of a huge one (I don't think it's a green turtle, definitely not leatherback, so most likely it's a hawksbill). I'll sharpen my turtle-ID skill later, LOL.

Olive Ridley? That's pretty hard to find, you must be lucky. I also think leatherback is totally gone from the shores of Malaysia :(
