Just returned from yet another week down in beautiful San Jose del Cabo. I dove again with East Cape Explorers. I did 3 days at Gordo Banks and one day in the Corridor. I cannot say enough about this wonderful operation. Max, James and Ruben, were nothing short of amazing. In the 6 dives at Gordo. We had Hammers on 5. One dive they were deeper than us. We literally had a wall of Hammerheads from 125 feet to about 60 feet. Hundreds upon hundreds of scalloped hammerheads

Max gives a very long and detailed dive briefing. PLEASE PAY ATTENTION! Without fail, on this and other trips, any and all that got distracted, played with gear or didn't absorb and ask questions were the ones that had challenges or not the best experience. The briefing covers it all and if you break certain rules, dive 2 will not happen for you. I LOVE this as it keeps people safe. They also inform you on hammerhead and shark behaviors; what to do and not do to have an incredible experience.

We had a blast! All remined calm and we saw the Hammers over and over!

The corridor also delivered. We dove Skywalker and Escalera. Cow nose rays in a school, tiny juvi angel fish, dragon moray, huge schools of fish big and small, bump head wrasse. All of this while being serenaded by whale song.

East Cape is top notch. Safe, fun and reliable.

Could not have had a better time and I have been diving with them for over 10 years.

Thanks for the report. What are some of the deal breakers to be excluded from the second dive. Just curious.

Going into deco., going deeper than the instructor or deeper than 130 feet, not paying attention, not doing a safety stop (5 minutes due to depth and multiple dives) not controlling buoyancy, adding air to ascend with rapid ascent, not being cognitive of other divers and briefing regrading sharks.

Effectively, doing things that may cause you or others harm:)
Thye take safety seriously but still have a lot of fun
