Excluding travel time I spent almost 2 Weeks (13th Feb - 26th Feb 2015) in Palau. On the first day I did an aerial tour (Cesna plane) booked through Sam's Tours. I can highly recommend it. The view is just spectacular. They took the door off so it was easier to take pictures and it adds to the excitement :D

The next day I went for 7 days trip on the Palau Aggressor II. The weather wasn't very good the first couple days. Lot's of rain and strong winds but for the last couple days it finally cleared up. The diving was just fantastic. We did all the famous dive sites like Blue Corner, German Channel, Ulong Channel, The Blue Holes etc. at least once. The variety in Palau is just amazing. Lots of sharks, mantas, big schools of jacks but also lots of small stuff like the mandarin fish. Most of the time we did a drift drive and at times we used the reef hooks to enjoy the show in the blue. But there are also nice wrecks, coral gardens or caves to dive. It has almost everything. We also went to the jelly fish lake which was quite an experience as well.

the Palau aggressor II is a good boat. It was very clean, the food was excellent and the crew always helpful and working hard. we never dove directly from the Palau aggressor II. Instead a skiff brought us to the dive site and back. Usually the rides were short but not all the time and with the bad weather in the beginning it was not so pleasant. I was happy that I was on a liveaboard. the day boats are the same small skiffs and it's a rough adventure if weather isn't good. The only thing I could complain about on the aggressor is that they didn't had a good handle on the tide.

After the liveraboard I did two more day trips diving, a land tour and two days kayaking with Sam's Tours. The diving was spectacular again but as mentioned above it can be rough on these small skiffs. the land tour was ok. I probably wouldn't do it again. The kayaking was great. The scene is just amazing. I can highly recommend that. Below is a video from my trip
