Trying to plan our summer vacation, family of four with one non-diver, my wife. Last year we did Bonaire and had a great week of diving but there wasn't a lot to keep a non-diver busy. Good time had by all but need to pick some place this year a little more friendly to everyone while still having some great diving. We've talked about a lot of different locations but so far, no decision. Thought it worth asking to see if others in the same boat had any recommendations from thier past experiences. Open to pretty much anything in Caribbean, Mexico, Bahamas, etc., we'll fly out of Atlanta.

Thanks!

Just a couple of suggestions. Turks & Caicos. Ambergris Key, Belize. Both have great diving and many topside activities. Do some research here on Scubaboard. You will find many postings

Thanks Bill and yes doing a ton of browsing and reading today in hopes or narrowing things down. Ready to get started on booking so we'll have something to look forward to. Have a 3-day trip coming up to Weeki Wachee but after that probably staying dry until the summer vacation.

We did a family trip to Iberostar Cozumel last summer with 1 diver, 1 learning to dive (son), and 2 non-divers (wife & daughter). We had a great time. The Iberostar is all-inclusive with lots of features, very nice pool area, and plenty of bars. The diving, of course, was fabulous. We did a couple of days in town and touring the island with a rental Jeep which was great fun.

Another good destination is Jamaica. The best resorts are Sandals for couples and Beaches for families. The resorts are really excellent but the diving isn't as good.... not bad, just "good."
