Has anyone managed to trim the blacktip travel by adding weight in the nose and fixed buoyancy at the back, appreciate any advice.
 
I know of one custom battery which did it. You'd need a significant amount of foam in the back to accomplish the same with PTBs.

It’s not really doable with the power tool batteries. I can sell you a custom 15Ah battery pack that, when combined with a slightly positive T handle, lets you trim out the travel (and also has 25% more capacity than the 12Ah Dewalts). Drop me a message if you’re interested!

Yeah, my design mounts a battery pack directly to the nose cone to move the weight further forward.

(Don’t mind the tape, just an engineering prototype.)
