Went to the LDS, wanted to try a BARE SGS 7mm, they dont carry cold water BARE wetsuits, but did have some Harveys and Seaquest suits that seemed to fit me very well. I was fairly impressed with the Seaquest one piece suit, and the guy at the store said he would take 10% of the price of the wetsuit and discount that amount off the price of a hooded vest (makes the hooded vest ~50% off).

The Harveys suit was pretty nice, the one I tried was actually a John two piece, but just didnt fit as well as the Seaquest did.

My LDS needs some better hangers for their suits, between the guy at the store and me, we broke like 3 or 4 hangers in about half an hour. ;)

On another note, I talked to the guy about Backplates and Wings, hoping they would have something I could try out (Im not going to commit to a BP/W setup without trying it out). The LDS does not carry any BP/W rigs, can special order them, but cant cut the deals on them that they do with their other merch (very good prices in the store, shopping online you cant even beat their prices by more than 3-4%)

We started talking about buying gear online, because the guy knows im a computer guy, and once I mentioned that I wanted to give the LDS the chance to have all my business, he seemed to sweeten up quite a bit.

I guess Ill be renting a jacket BC, or buying a used Pro QD+ until I can find a BP/W to try.
