Quick question: I see that there's 3 Roxas in the Philippines so i'm getting confused w/ the ferry schedules. Where is Roxas City?

I read in Lonely PLanet Philippines that there's a boat that goes from Batangas to PP. This is news from 2003 though....

Can anyone confirm this? as I'm hoping to see some of Batangas Palawan & that I won't need to backtrack to Manila JUST to get to Palawan.

Any info on any boats/planes would be helpful....as so many websites seem to be out of date or unresponsive.

I know that flights to Palawan only include:

- Manila > PP
- Manila > El Nido
- Manila > Busuanga
- Cebe > PP

....are there any other flights that anyone knows of to get me to Palawan?

HOw is road travel from El Nido to Roxas ?Bay? ?
- Travel Time?
- What days is there transport?

Does anyone know of boats that go to Palawan from anywhere other than Manila. Someone mentioned that there's a boat from Ililio.....is this one still running?

Roxas City is on the Island of Panay, pretty close to Borakay;

Roxas is also a village/city on Palawan;

You could travel from Batangas to Palawan via Coron. My guess is it would take forever,
but if you're on a very tight bugdet or have all the time in the world...
You´d probably have to change boat in Coron too.
Good wreck diving in Coron though.

"Travel to Coron, Palawan by Slow Boat from Batangas is now possible. Viva Lines has resumed its' operation from Batangas to Coron. The ship leaves Batangas on Wednesday and arrives in Coron on Thursday. It leaves Coron on Friday and arrives in Batangas on Saturday. This schedule is subject to frequent change."

Given the nature of things, my guess is that your best bet is
to go back to Manila and just get the flight (or faster, more
reliable boat) to PP. Or take the seAir flight to El Nido.

El Nido to Roxas is maybe a 2-3 hour buss ride? Depending on the shape of the road, driver etc. Just ask around when you get there.

There is no longer a boat that leaves from batangas to coron in the northen palawan. It now leaves from mindoro mbca aida 2 mindoro. This is an outrigger boat so not the one for those faint harted. You will have to check departure but it is fry or sat.
You can fly or use boats from manila. Hope the following helps.
