Hi, we have never been to Mexico before, so looking for some good advice on where to stay!
We are going on a family vacation with kids age 13 & 15. I hope to do daily dives, but the rest of the family will do some dives. So we need suggestions for a resort that will support other activities as well. Any suggestions?

better hurry, many places, including mine have been full since January. Probably an all inclusive that may still have packages. Watch the dates closely as one day more or less may make a big difference.

you can try the Occidental Grand Cozumel, all inclusive, water sports, fun club for the kids while you are diving

We really liked the Sunscape Sabor in Cozumel. It had a lot for people who stayed at the resort to do (and a good number of kids), and easy pick up from the pier for diving whether you used their op or others.

If family vacation is the focus of the trip, and not diving, I might look at Riveria Maya. The resorts there generally get better reviews than Cozumel's- which is just more laid back in general (for me, that's a plus- but not for everyone.)

Our kids absolutely loved the Cozumel Palace. They have a kids program that keeps them busy from 9-9. When you get them back, they are so worn out they slide into bed until morning. There is lots of stuff to do for mom and dad too. Diving, dancing , gourmet restaurants, massages, spa, pool activities like water polo and volley ball. It's all inclusive and the food is great. You can swim right off their dock. It's the best place we have stayed in Cozumel and I have been to most of them. We are going back just as soon as we can.
