Trying to figure out the best way to travel with spear gun. Any help would be appeciated

Depending on the length of the gun, a golf bag - hard type or maybe even a speargun bag.......checked in

Dash... Have you tried calling the airlines you will be flying on...? No mistakes that way because someone said it was OK on Delta but you find out at the counter that American definitely will not...!!! If you know what I mean...

I definately know what you mean about the different airlines.... What I am looking for is recomendations for cases. What I am thinking is a hard rifle case or any ideas

Check... I could see modifying some 2-2.5" PVC or such for the length of the barrel. Use some offset PVC to get the width you need for the handle... You could use some pipe insulation to protect the gun while traveling... Don't know if yours is one piece or breaks down but I think you could work out a nice case in such a way...

Use PVC glue for all parts except for the end and use a screw on cap or heck, leave it loose at both sides of the handle and then taper it back down. Couple of latches would secure it and bob is your uncle...!

Just a thought,

lee
