hmmm where to start ... sydney has quite a few choices ...
shore diving ... Shelly Beach, Manly Pool, Balmoral Nets, Clifton Gardens on the North of the harbour (within about 10 miles of the cdb)
Camp Cove, Clovelly Pool, Gordons Bay, Bare Island, Kurnell, Shiprock and Oak Park on the southern side. (within about 15 miles of the cbd)
then you also have boat dives ... most dive shops can book these for you.

What kind of diving are you interested in? Any creatures in particular you want to see? That could help determine the best dive sites.
