I had a New Zealand trip for business scheduled for this month that was obviously cancelled due to COVID-19. I have to use up the AirNewZealand travel credits by Dec 31 of this year and I am looking at mid September. With current prices being so low, I can go to New Zealand for the 2 weeks of business I have and still have bout $1000 worth of airfare unused. I have to use that up via Air New Zealand.

Air New Zealand flies to:
Australia, Cook Islands, Fiji, New Caledonia, Norfolk Island, Samoa and Tonga.

Any recommendations, experiences? I thought I might go to NZ for 2 weeks and then fly somewhere else on the way back for 7-9 days, then back to the US to use up those travel dollars.

I am guessing due to luggage and the other training equipment and stuff I am traveling with for work, that I will be renting gear, though will take mask, regs and computers. I normally dive Sidemount but at least a few times a year go backmount singles due to travel or other reasons.

Thanks for your input.
