I was to fly to Phuket on Jan 7th for diving from Koh Lanta and a liveboard in the Similans. After a week of trying to make a decision I decided to cancel and instead went diving in cozumel and the cenote caverns. My trip was a week after the tradgedy and I decided that a period of mourning was appropriate for that area. I was going to visit my friend who is an instructor and was in the water when it hit. He is ok. I could not get a refund on my ticket so I still have a ticket for this trip and will go back after some time has passed
