Travel Arrangements from the International Airport

Hey, we are flying into the International Airport tomorrow around 2pm... What are your guys recommendations on the best way to get to either CC or AC? We haven't decided where we want to stay, other than that it must have air condition and internet

Do we fly to san pedro or just take a boat? Any tips on best way to get around?

Simplest and quickest (by far) is to fly on Tropic or Maya. You'll need to decide up-front which island you're going to. What are your criteria for deciding?

It's half the price to fly from the municipal airstrip in Belize City, but costly for the taxi to get there. I think it's cost effective for two of you together, and certainly cost effective for three. No bus options.

There are several water taxi options, but again you have the expensive taxi rides to get to either of the ferry terminals. The schedules are great;y more limited than the flights so you may be hanging around quite a long time. Ferry prices have gone up greatly recently (50%) so although it's still cheaper than flying it's no longer the bargain that it was. And it takes around 1.5 hours to get to San Pedro, rather less to Caye Caulker.

Personally I would fly from the International Airport. It's so much more convenient and faster.

Once here, either CC or AC, either walk, rent bicycles, or (on AC) use taxis.

we will be arriving on saturday.. we are planning on taking a flight from the international airport and staying in san pedro at either tides beach resort, or sunbreeze hotel...
