I consider to stay a few days in Trat (near Koh Chang) is there any dive center?

The three main islands of the Mu Koh Chang marine park have dive centers (Chang, Mak, Kut). Trat is just a town with a river and an airport.

The inital idea was to stay a very short time, so we wanted to safe time. But now with all the hasle, driving from BKK to Cambodia than to trat and after 2 days back I may don't do it. Initally I was in hope there is also something in Trat.

Oh I see. Well, since you're driving, there is a car ferry to Koh Chang (THB 150), so it might not add much to your trip time to stop off.
